FAQs
Do you have questions about health and wellness coaching?
Here are answers to common questions. If you have any others, feel free to reach out.

What is a health and wellness coach?
A health and wellness coach is a trained professional who supports you in creating sustainable, positive changes in your health and overall well-being. Coaching focuses on helping you clarify your goals, build healthier habits, and move forward in a way that feels realistic and supportive for your life.
Rather than telling you what to do, a coach partners with you to uncover what works best for you.
Together, we focus on small, meaningful steps that fit into your real life, helping you create lasting change instead of quick fixes.
Leah is trained through an NBHWC-approved program, which reflects a commitment to professional standards and client-centered coaching.
We’ll discuss your goals, answer any questions you have, and outline what working together could look like. There is no obligation to continue after the session.
Most clients meet with Leah on a regular schedule, often weekly or bi-weekly, depending on their needs and goals. Sessions typically last about 30-45 minutes.
Your schedule is personalized, and we’ll decide together what frequency feels supportive and sustainable for you.
Coaching sessions are collaborative, encouraging, and focused on progress that feels achievable and meaningful.
While therapy often explores past experiences and healing, coaching focuses on where you are now and how you want to move forward.
